Driving Background:
For Wes, racing is a way to keep challenging himself and keep learning. And thousands of laps after he started racing in 1995, he says he’s still learning. He’s raced open-wheel and production cars in several classes, including GT at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. His brother Ken is also a ProFormance instructor. He’s driven professionally for several manufacturers, including Acura, Hyundai, Lexus, McLaren, Rolls Royce, and Toyota.
Having worked with every major racing school in the country, Wes notes that what makes ProFormance stand out is how the whole team really cares about everything: your safety, your vehicle, your goals, your level of learning, and your enjoyment. “We all want your days at the track with us to be the best days you’ll ever have at a track!”
Tracks Driven:
Most tracks in North America from Lime Rock Park to Palm Beach International Raceway, and from The Thermal Club to Area 27 Motorsports Park. Also the major tracks in China, Japan, England, and the most notable tracks in mainland Europe. Still actively competes in all Pacific Northwest tracks, including Mission Raceway Park, Oregon Raceway Park, Pacific Raceways, Portland International Raceway, Spokane County Raceway, and The Ridge Motorsports Park.
Instructor Experience:
20 years with ProFormance. Certified Instructor for Rolls Royce, Lexus, McLaren, NSX, Toyota, Ducati, and Harley Davidson. Wes also does some form of driving instruction or automotive product training in classrooms, parking lots, and/or race tracks around the world more than 300 days a year.
