DESCRIPTION:One-Day High Performance Driving Experience\n\nNo prior experience is required — use your car or rent one of ours. \n\nTime: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm\nLimit: 24 participants\nEligibility: Open to all licensed drivers and teens with a permit and a minimum of 6 months of driving. Parental consent is required for teens (under 18)\n\n\nThe One-Day High Performance Driving Experience includes two separate elements: the AM Skills Clinic and PM Lapping sessions at the Pacific Raceways road course with a private instructor. \nCost: $799 (includes a helmet rental\, & complimentary boxed lunch) \nNeed A Car?\n\n\nCar rentals are available for an additional fee: \n\n2024 Toyota GR86 Race Coupes for $700 (cars are paddle-shift automatic)\nRental fee includes fuel\n\n\n\n\nOn The Day Of Your Experience:\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, be sure to empty your car of valuables to avoid unsecured storage while at the track.\nLightweight\, comfortable clothing and thin\, soft-soled shoes are recommended for maximum pedal “feel.”\nBe prepared for some walking over uneven terrain in the afternoon.\nWe offer a stocked refrigerator of water and sodas for an additional $2.00\nFor your planning purposes\, the end time will occur no later than 5:00 pm\n\nIf You Are Using Your Car:\n\nBrakes must be in excellent condition.\nTires must be in good condition\, with adequate tread depth and no “plug repair” to punctures.  Tire pressures should be set to the manufacturer’s specs.\nAll loose items inside the car and trunk must be removed before the driving exercises. Please leave these items at home to avoid storage at Pacific Raceways Inc.\nSeat belts must be present and functional in both driver and passenger seats.\nSoft-top cars must have a roll bar or a DOT “pop-up” rollover device. Drivers are required to sign a convertible waiver.\nNo air or fuel is available on site at Pacific Raceways\, so you will want to come prepared with a full tank of fuel. The session and exercises combine to give you an in-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics\, skid control\, brake application\, steering\, and advanced vision skills. Afterward\, there is a review and closing discussion\, and the driver is sent home having learned valuable lessons in proactive driving. \nNote: Parents of teen drivers taking the clinic are encouraged to stay for the classroom and watch the skid pad exercises. They will better understand how the clinic increases young drivers’ alertness\, control\, and confidence. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor the most comprehensive learning experience\, sign up for the full-day One-Day High Performance Driving Experience\, which combines the AM Skills Clinic with an afternoon session on the 2.25-mile\, 9-turn Pacific Raceways road course. Parental consent is required for teens (under 18)\n\n\nThe One-Day High Performance Driving Experience includes two separate elements: the AM Skills Clinic and PM Lapping sessions at the Pacific Raceways road course with a private instructor. \nCost: $799 (includes a helmet rental\, & complimentary boxed lunch) \nNeed A Car?\n\n\nCar rentals are available for an additional fee: \n\n2024 Toyota GR86 Race Coupes for $700 (cars are paddle-shift automatic)\nRental fee includes fuel\n\n\n\n\nOn The Day Of Your Experience:\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, be sure to empty your car of valuables to avoid unsecured storage while at the track.\nLightweight\, comfortable clothing and thin\, soft-soled shoes are recommended for maximum pedal “feel.”\nBe prepared for some walking over uneven terrain in the afternoon.\nWe offer a stocked refrigerator of water and sodas for an additional $2.00\nFor your planning purposes\, the end time will occur no later than 5:00 pm\n\nIf You Are Using Your Car:\n\nBrakes must be in excellent condition.\nTires must be in good condition\, with adequate tread depth and no “plug repair” to punctures.  Tire pressures should be set to the manufacturer’s specs.\nAll loose items inside the car and trunk must be removed before the driving exercises. Please leave these items at home to avoid storage at Pacific Raceways Inc.\nSeat belts must be present and functional in both driver and passenger seats.\nSoft-top cars must have a roll bar or a DOT “pop-up” rollover device. Drivers are required to sign a convertible waiver.\nNo air or fuel is available on site at Pacific Raceways\, so you will want to come prepared with a full tank of fuel. Parental consent is required for teens (under 18)\n\n\nThe One-Day High Performance Driving Experience includes two separate elements: the AM Skills Clinic and PM Lapping sessions at the Pacific Raceways road course with a private instructor. \nCost: $799 (includes a helmet rental\, & complimentary boxed lunch) \nNeed A Car?\n\n\nCar rentals are available for an additional fee: \n\n2024 Toyota GR86 Race Coupes for $700 (cars are paddle-shift automatic)\nRental fee includes fuel\n\n\n\n\nOn The Day Of Your Experience:\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, be sure to empty your car of valuables to avoid unsecured storage while at the track.\nLightweight\, comfortable clothing and thin\, soft-soled shoes are recommended for maximum pedal “feel.”\nBe prepared for some walking over uneven terrain in the afternoon.\nWe offer a stocked refrigerator of water and sodas for an additional $2.00\nFor your planning purposes\, the end time will occur no later than 5:00 pm\n\nIf You Are Using Your Car:\n\nBrakes must be in excellent condition.\nTires must be in good condition\, with adequate tread depth and no “plug repair” to punctures.  Tire pressures should be set to the manufacturer’s specs.\nAll loose items inside the car and trunk must be removed before the driving exercises. DESCRIPTION:AM Skills Clinic\n\nProFormance Racing School’s AM Skills Clinic is the essential course in driving skills for drivers at all levels: experienced or new drivers\, teens\, new car owners wanting to find out what their new ride can do\, or anyone wanting to learn more about their daily driving machine! \n\nTime: 7:30 am to 11:30 am\nPrice: $229.00 using a personal vehicle\n\nThe AM Skills Clinic starts with a 60-minute classroom session\, followed by four on-track exercises in advanced car control and street survival skills. The session and exercises combine to give you an in-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics\, skid control\, brake application\, steering\, and advanced vision skills. Afterward\, there is a review and closing discussion\, and the driver is sent home having learned valuable lessons in proactive driving. \nNote: Parents of teen drivers taking the clinic are encouraged to stay for the classroom and watch the skid pad exercises. They will better understand how the clinic increases young drivers’ alertness\, control\, and confidence. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor the most comprehensive learning experience\, sign up for the full-day One-Day High Performance Driving Experience\, which combines the AM Skills Clinic with an afternoon session on the 2.25-mile\, 9-turn Pacific Raceways road course. SUMMARY:One-Day High Performance Driving Experience
DESCRIPTION:One-Day High Performance Driving Experience\n\nNo prior experience is required — use your car or rent one of ours. \n\nTime: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm\nLimit: 24 participants\nEligibility: Open to all licensed drivers and teens with a permit and a minimum of 6 months of driving. Parental consent is required for teens (under 18)\n\n\nThe One-Day High Performance Driving Experience includes two separate elements: the AM Skills Clinic and PM Lapping sessions at the Pacific Raceways road course with a private instructor. \nCost: $799 (includes a helmet rental\, & complimentary boxed lunch) \nNeed A Car?\n\n\nCar rentals are available for an additional fee: \n\n2024 Toyota GR86 Race Coupes for $700 (cars are paddle-shift automatic)\nRental fee includes fuel\n\n\n\n\nOn The Day Of Your Experience:\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, be sure to empty your car of valuables to avoid unsecured storage while at the track.\nLightweight\, comfortable clothing and thin\, soft-soled shoes are recommended for maximum pedal “feel.”\nBe prepared for some walking over uneven terrain in the afternoon.\nWe offer a stocked refrigerator of water and sodas for an additional $2.00\nFor your planning purposes\, the end time will occur no later than 5:00 pm\n\nIf You Are Using Your Car:\n\nBrakes must be in excellent condition.\nTires must be in good condition\, with adequate tread depth and no “plug repair” to punctures.  Tire pressures should be set to the manufacturer’s specs.\nAll loose items inside the car and trunk must be removed before the driving exercises. Please leave these items at home to avoid storage at Pacific Raceways Inc.\nSeat belts must be present and functional in both driver and passenger seats.\nSoft-top cars must have a roll bar or a DOT “pop-up” rollover device. Drivers are required to sign a convertible waiver.\nNo air or fuel is available on site at Pacific Raceways\, so you will want to come prepared with a full tank of fuel.
